10 Best Metal Suppliers in North Carolina

In North Carolina, a metal roof has to survive everything from the salty humidity of the Outer Banks to the heavy snow loads of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Choosing the wrong supplier isn’t just a headache; it’s a multi-thousand-dollar mistake. We’ve audited the top manufacturers across the state to rank them on structural integrity, turnaround speed, and regional reliability.

Transparency on our end: We are On Time Metal. We’ve put ourselves at #1 because our in-house manufacturing process is specifically engineered for NC’s volatile climate. However, our goal is to help you build the best structure possible, so we’ve provided an honest look at the state’s most reputable competitors.

NC Metal Supplier Ranking Criteria

In-House Roll-Forming: Does the company own the machines and form the panels themselves to ensure quality control?
Gauge & Steel Quality: Do they offer both 29-gauge and heavy-duty 26-gauge options for different structural needs?
Paint System Longevity: Do they use high-end finishes like Sherwin-Williams WeatherXL to prevent fading in the NC sun?
Custom Trim Capability: Can they bend custom flashing and trim on-demand to match specific project specs?
